It’s not surprising, we’ve always been a bit different in the way we do things. But here, we’re not just talking about differences, we’re talking about revolution!

Our goal: to finally give owners of commercial buildings with flat roofs peace of mind when it comes to roofing.

Is it possible? Certainly!

The easy option, the one often proposed by our industry, is to re-roof. A new roof means no more problems… at least for the first few years. On the other hand, the investment required for a re-roofing project either requires a loan or reduces the owner’s liquidity.

What if we could find a way to extend the life of the roof, save the homeowner money and reduce the environmental impact our industry has on the planet? WOW, what a challenge!

After several years of reflection, a young 8-year-old boy found part of the solution between two burnt marshmallows, his fingers all gummed up! “But why don’t we rent out the roofs? Project Turtle was born.

Nothing like this existed… and it took us almost 5 years to turn this far-fetched idea into a real business project. But we haven’t yet fully exposed our Testudo vision to the world… We’ll save that for a future blog!
