Our management approach encourages collaboration between our partners. We have internal collaborators, our employees, and we have external collaborators, our ecosystem. We have a ” close-knit” approach with our internal collaborators. Testudo is a family-run business. We have a great corporate culture where we know people, their families, their hobbies and what they’re passionate about. In our hiring process, we look for a “fit” with our corporate culture. This hiring process can be rigorous, but once the person is hired, he or she becomes an integral part of the family.
External collaborators
This “close-knit” collaborative approach also applies to our external collaborators. We work closely with our partners in the roofing industry. This approach enables us to work shoulder to shoulder to protect our customers’ investments. Manufacturers and distributors, together with their representatives, work as a team to ensure that the customer is at the center of their concerns.
As in the Romaine Testudo training program, each external collaborator brings his or her own shield and offers protection to the customer. In practice, we discuss the different products to be used, the preventive maintenance to be carried out, we take part in training courses on new products, new coating installation techniques, the choice of elastomer membrane, TPO and much more.
The construction industry itself is highly regulated. This is not to say that there is no innovation. Manufacturers are constantly seeking to innovate with new products. Testudo is in the vanguard, constantly seeking out the latest building materials, maintenance and techniques. We innovate in the same way as the Roman army invented Testudo training.
Putting the customer first
Our actions in the construction industry, and with each and every one of our employees, seek to put the customer back at the heart of the equation. This means making risky decisions, for us and our external collaborators, to help customers reduce their commercial roof repair costs.
